Ensuring the inclusion of community voices during planning process of gaunpalikas

Purnima has been working with 22 gaunpalikas to strengthen their planning process for both long and short-term sustainable development goals. Purnima, through its embedded TA supports gaunpalikas to prepare evidence based, inclusive, participatory periodic plans that is aligned to the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF). It guides the planning process through a deliberative and strategic process of preparation and implementation of periodic plans, sectoral plans and annual plans with detailed budgeting.

Most importantly, the planning process also incorporates feedback from members of communities including the ones from marginalized background. Below are few glimpses of various stages of participatory and inclusive community consultations.
